A Different Kind of Perfect

I’m trying my hand at writing a story.  This is not a fanfiction.  It is created by me and any resemblance to anyone is not intentional. Previously titled “Perfect is Overrated”… didn’t like that title so I changed it.

This story is set in the final year of high school.  It’s a time when decisions have to be made about the future.  A time to create lasting memories with your friends.  A time of triumphs and heartbreaks, laughter and tears.  A crazy, confusing time balancing the last remnants of childhood with the coming responsibilities of being an adult.  The main character, Andrew, is intelligent, creative, and responsible.  He thinks he has everything figured out but life doesn’t always go the way you want.  Sometimes, fate tears your plans to shreds… and it can be the best thing that ever happened.

This will mostly be told from the main character’s point-of-view.  There will be some bad language and possibly some intimate scenes, but nothing graphic.  I’m writing this as I go, so even I am not sure how it will all turn out.
